I have been reading 2012 by Daniel Pinchbeck. It was given to me earlier this year when I was teaching in Tulum, Mexico. Immersed in the mystical vibrations of the Mayan culture I felt it was a perfect book to fill my thoughts. I, along with the New Agers, philosophers and select mathematicians and scientists look toward December of 2012 with intrigue and speculation. We wonder what will be. We meditate on the end of the calendar stuff and deep down we hope for the best.
Recently a friend of mine showed me a video on You Tube about the healing of the planet and the ushering in of the Golden Age. I watched and listened as Guru Dattatreya Siva Baba proclaimed to be a carrier of the energy many of us are curious about arriving with the coming of 2012. He proclaimed to be incarnated solely for the purpose of ushering in grace energy and being a great part of the new age which as he promised is being brought to us with this month’s lumation.
The New moon on July 2, floats in on the watery energy of the sign of Cancer. Emotions like gases escape from rosy colored bubbles revealing old unresolved issues. Time to hose out under the stiff structures you've built up and be prepared for a releasing change as silt and mud give way to buried treasure.
On July 10 stealth sire Saturn conjoins with the driving force of Mars in unpredictable Virgo. Intense energies move in opposite directions as Mars hits his breaks coming up upon Saturn's stop sign. Will this cause a crash or the necessary pressure you need to convert carbon into diamonds? In addition, on the tenth, logic sinks into the mysterious waters of feelings as Mercury swims into the sign of Cancer joining the Sun and Venus.
Strong cravings force outrageous gestures as Venus bolts into boisterous Leo on July 12. This wild ride lasts until the full moon on July 18 as Luna in stubborn Capricorn beams her willful glow on the warm heart center of the Sun.
On July 22 the Sun roars into the mighty energy of the Lion. Eat sweet chocolate and enjoy a taste of self indulgence. When you are happy, those around you absorb your positive energy and feel good.
There are many ways to express your true colors. Boldly display your inner feelings when Mercury pounces into Leo on the twenty-sixth. Many feel that the light of grace is cleaning, realigning and reprogramming us right now.
